Itinerary
Days 1–5: Kathmandu & Lhasa
The journey begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal on May 22, 2026
After a hotel transfer, you’ll attend an evening briefing and welcome dinner. The next day, you’ll explore the city’s cultural and historical sites, including Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Boudhanath Stupa.
You’ll also visit Pashupatinath Temple for prayers and a yagya. On Day 3, you’ll fly to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet.
Day 4 is dedicated to exploring Lhasa’s rich history, with visits to the majestic Potala Palace, the sacred Jorkhang Temple, and the vibrant Barkhor Street. On Day 5, you’ll drive to Sightse.
Days 6–10: Everest & Lake Manasarovar
On Day 6, you'll drive to Thingri to acclimate to the high altitude.
Day 7 includes a visit to the iconic Everest Base Camp and a drive to Sanga.
On Day 8, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manasarovar, considered the holiest lake in Tibetan Buddhism, and spend the night at Chhu Gompa monastery.
Day 9 involves sacred pujas and rituals at the lake before driving to Darchen. Day 10 is a major highlight: you’ll start the three-day Kailash Parikarma, a circumambulation of Mount Kailash, trekking to the sacred Diraphuk monastery.
This day, May 31, 2026, is the Saga Dawa Festival and the Grand Mahakumbh of Kailash. It’s also an opportunity for “Charan Sparsh” (touch Kailash).
Days 11–16: Parikarma & Departure
The Parikarma continues on Day 11 with a trek to Zuthulphuk via the challenging Dolma La Pass.
On Day 12, you’ll complete the Kailash Parikarma and return to Darchen. The next few days involve a return journey, driving back to Sanga on Day 13 and returning to Sightse on Day 14.
Day 15 is a drive back to Lhasa. The final leg of the tour on Day 16 is a flight back to Kathmandu.
The tour officially concludes on June 7, 2026, with your departure from Kathmandu.
Optional Muktinath Tour
Day 18
Embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city, with a stopover at the Manakamana Temple.
Day 19
Fly back to Pokhara, where you can explore the city’s lakes, gardens, and temples, before returning to Kathmandu.
Day 20
Fly back to Pokhara, where you can explore the city’s lakes, gardens, and temples, before returning to Kathmandu.
Day 21
Depart from Kathmandu with cherished memories of your spiritual journey through the Himalayas.
