The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage to Mount Kailash (revered as the abode of Lord Shiva) and Lake Manasarovar (a holy lake created in the mind of Lord Brahma) located in the remote Tibet Autonomous Region.

The year 2026 is the Tibetan 'Year of the Horse' – a celestial alignment that occurs only once every 12 years. According to ancient beliefs, the spiritual merit of completing one Parikrama around Mount Kailash during this year is multiplied thirteenfold, making it the Mahakumbh of Kailash.

Any physically fit person, typically between the ages of 12 and 70 years, can join the Yatra. Since the trek involves high-altitude passes, physical preparation and altitude checks are mandatory.

We offer two main routes: the Lhasa flight route (ideal for NRI/international group devotees offering gradual acclimatization, flight to Lhasa, and an excursion to Everest Base Camp) and the Kerung overland road route (exclusively designed for Indian citizens entering via the Rasuwagadhi border).

The Lhasa route is highly recommended for international/NRI devotees as it offers premium comfort, gradual altitude gain, flight transfers, and includes visiting Lhasa's heritage sites and Everest Base Camp. The Kerung route is a traditional overland road crossing designed primarily for Indian citizens.

We recommend regular cardiovascular exercises (walking 5-6 km daily, light jogging, cycling), breathing exercises (Pranayama), and yoga for at least 3 to 4 months before the yatra. Stamina, strong lung capacity, and mental discipline are critical.
